With the warmer weather finally here, there will be an increase of range/facility usage, both among members and our guests. I’d like to remind everyone to pay extra care to both safety and good sportsmanship. Every member is an ambassador for the club, and every member’s behavior reflects on the rest of us. We have among us some of the finest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I think it’s safe to say we set the bar for both safety and conduct not just in our area, but statewide. That said, while we set the measure high, we must continue to set that measure higher. We cannot afford to get complacent and rest on our laurels. Next time you’re at the club, please take a moment to review the range rules posted at the head of the parking area, take time to help new members who may have questions, and help keep the facility tidy. Please remember that the 100 and 200 yard ranges are closed during clays events. Here’s wishing you all a fun and safe summer.
